I am a civil and structural engineer with more than 6 years of experience in civil and material engineering with a focus on concrete technology. I have deep knowledge in advanced concrete technology and construction materials including microstructure, transport properties, durability, stability and strength of concrete, concrete mixture design, corrosion of reinforcement, corrosion prevention, non-destructive test methods, evaluation and rehabilitation of deteriorated concrete structures and other related areas of construction materials.

I am familiar with mixture design and application of a wide range of cement-based materials including Ultra-High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC), Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC), High-Strength Concrete (HSC), High-Performance Concrete (HPC), Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (FRC), Decorative Concrete, Repairing Concrete, Lightweight Foam Concrete (LFC), etc.

I have published over 15 research journal articles, conference papers, handbooks, and patent on diverse subjects from concrete technology to geotechnical engineering, and water and wastewater treatment .

I am passionate about innovation and cutting-edge technologies. I consider myself a hardworking and fast learner person and I am motivated to learn new subjects and undertake new challenges. Besides being a reliable team player, I am quite comfortable working independently as well.

My enthusiasm for research was provoked by Dr. Mohsen Tadayon, one of the Bu-Ali Sina University professors and the president of Iranian Concrete Institute (ICI). I therefore attended the concrete laboratory of Bu-Ali Sina University in the second year of the Bachelor's studies.

While working on my specialized project on an innovative apparatus supervised by Dr. Nili, I assisted other MSc and PhD students with their theses, meanwhile, I was working on the three journal papers, a patent and four conference papers. Moreover, I attended two projects (267-unit apartment projects and a school construction project) to gain some field experience.

I attended Bu-Ali Sina University for my Master's program and worked on another innovative apparatus supervised by Dr. Nili that measures all the properties of self-consolidating concrete  simultaneously. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to work on three handbooks and two journal papers. Since the beginning of my Master's program, I have also been working as a Civil and Structural Engineer at Jahan Nama, a company that provides planning, design and construction of structural buildings.

After graduation, my colleagues and I wrote two journal papers on ultra-high performance fiber-reinforced concrete and since 2019, I have worked as a Professional Structural Engineer (PE) for supervision and construction of buildings. Recently, Dr. Masoud Makarchian, my former professor, my colleague and I wrote a journal paper on geotechnical engineering in which we assessed the impact of polypropylene fiber on cemented sand properties.
